Description

This colored lithograph features a quotation from President Abraham Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address which he gave on March 4, 1865. "With Malice Toward None, With Charity for All" is printed in large lettering set against a background of flowers and leaves. The print is tinted with blues, pinks, greens, and yellows. The initial letters of the words With, Malice, and Charity are done in blue. "Toward None" is emphasized on a plain panel between the first and third lines of text.
