Description

This lithograph features a full-length portrait of Oliver P. Morton, Governor of Indiana, 1861-1867. He is depicted seated in a chair next to a table on which his right hand rests while holding a pen over a document. A United States map hangs against the wall behind Morton and a globe is positioned to his left. A faint depiction of a military scene is visible through the arch to the viewer's left of the table.
