Description
This print is done from the original painting done by artist Frederic Mizen. The print features President Abraham Lincoln seated and sharing a book with his youngest son, Tad. Lincoln is wearing his typical black frock coat, trousers, waistcoat, and bow tie and has a tan scarf around his neck. His top hat is hanging on the top post of the chair behind Lincoln's right shoulder. Tad, shown in a brown suit, black bow tie, and a brown hat, is standing by Lincoln's left shoulder looking at his father while pointing to something in the book. Two large white columns are behind Tad. The title, artist's name, and publisher's information are printed in the lower margin.
