Description
This color print of a bearded Abraham Lincoln is a reproduction of a 1953 oil painting of Lincoln by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The painting was done from an 1863 photograph of Lincoln taken by Alexander Gardner in Washington, D. C. Lincoln is depicted in a dark suit coat, vest, and bow tie against a red background. A gold-colored watch fob can be seen attached to the vest. The artist's initials "DE" are in the lower right corner of the image. The title and the copyright information are found in the lower margin. A thin blue border is visible on three sides around the margins of the print.
