Description

This poster features a large illustration of President Abraham Lincoln on a bright orange background and is an advertisement for the February issue of McClure's Monthly Magazine. At the top of the poster above the illustration in large black font is "McClure's for February." To the viewer's left of the illustration in fonts of various sizes are the title of the featured article, "Abraham Lincoln: Surveyor, Storekeeper, Postmaster and Legislator with 28 pictures, including 8 portraits of Lincoln," and authors and titles of other articles in the issue.
