This broadside features a report by James M. W. Yerrinton on the discourse of Wendell Phillips, an American abolitionist, on the war on April 21, 1861, before the Twenty-eighth Congregational Society in Boston, Massachusetts. After the introductory paragraph, the text begins with a passage from Jeremiah 50-51. Then the text of Mr. Phillips discourse begins.
