Description
This poster features at the top a photograph of President Abraham Lincoln, seated, with his youngest son, Tad, standing beside him while both look at a photograph album he is holding. The photograph was taken on February 9, 1864, in Washington, D. C. A facsimile of a letter written by President Lincoln on December 30, 1863, to Governor Gamble along with a typed transcript beside it is below the photograph. The title "Knudsen Dairy Products, the Very Best" is printed between the photograph and the letter on a peach-colored background. This poster is an example of the use of the Lincoln name and/or image used to promote positive feelings toward a business or organization.
