Description

This print done from the original etching by Dwight C. Sturges features Abraham Lincoln sitting with a group of three men in front of a fireplace. Lincoln is depicted seated on the edge of his chair with his left arm outstretched as if he had been sharing a story with the men who appear to be listening to him with smiles on their faces. A larger print of this same image which was number 103 of a 350 limited printing is 71.2009.081.1026. An article in The Christian Science Monitor about the lithograph is 71.2009.081.1019.
