Description

This comp, or page layout, is for a hanging company calendar. The background is a pale blue with a decorative border painted near the edges, A photographic reproduction of the right profile bas relief of President Abraham Lincoln sculpted by Picket was pasted on at the top and an oval border painted around it. The name of the company was lettered below along with the slogan "Its Name Indicates Its Character." An illustration of the Capitol Building in Washington, D. C. was painted just below the slogan. An August 1924 calendar page was pasted below the building. Two holes in the top margin had a thin olive green rope threaded through and tied to make a hangar.
