Description
This color print features a view of the city of Lexington, Kentucky as it appeared in 1855. The view is taken from the sky, and lines up with a dirt path that leads away from a park with trees in the foreground. There is a path that forks off to the left and right from the straight path. Houses and other buildings line the streets in small clusters, with the church and its steeple visible in the distance. Clouds with white and blue and purple hues hover over the town.
