Description
This is an original drawing for an editorial cartoon depicting a distant view of the globe that shows only North America. Over the entire stretch of the United States are drawn two interconnected hearts, that have been pierced with a bow and arrow. One heart reads "US" and the other "ABE". A small character in the bottom proper right corner holds a picket sign that says, "Why Wait for Valentine's Day!". The title is in the upper margin.
