This engraving is a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C.The vignette shows President Lincoln facing the viewer and wearing a black frock coat, waistcoat, and bow tie. A facsimile signature is printed below the image.
