This print features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C. President Lincoln faces the viewer and is wearing a black frock coat, waistcoat, and bow tie. Just above the bottom edge of the image printed in white ink: "A. Lincoln, Born in Hardin Co. Ky.
