This engraving features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C. President Lincoln shown wearing a black frock coat, waistcoat, and bow tie faces the viewer. The publisher's information is printed just below the image folowing the line of the oval.
