This print features a reproduction of a painting of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C. Above the image written in gold-colored script is the first sentence of President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that "all men are created equal."
