Description

This color poster features the artist's idea of a young Abraham Lincoln taking a break from work. He depicts Abe sitting on a stack of split rails reading a book. His axe is placed on the ground with the handle resting against the rails beside him on the left. His maul is resting against the rails on Abe's right. A log cabin, a field of corn, and a split rail fence are in the background. Abe is wearing a blue button shirt, buckskin trousers, and moccasins.
