Description
This is a reproduction of an original aerial view of the city of Louisville, Kentucky as it appeared in 1854. The streets and blocks of the city are clearly shown, with a river complete with docks and boats in the foreground. The view is from a distance, rather than a view straight down onto the city. "Louisville. K.Y." is printed in block letters below the print, publication information printed below the image at the right. The bottom right corner of the paper itself reads, "Louisville, Kentucky, as it appeared in 1854. Reproduced from original engraving, May, 1955, by Don D.
