Description
This photographic print features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln enlarged from a photograph taken of him on February 9, 1864, in Washington, D. C. Facing slightly toward the viewer's right, Lincoln is wearing a black coat, vest, and bow tie. A gray rectangular border surrounds the oval-cut portrait. A facsimile Lincoln signature is printed below the image. "Born Feb. 12th. 1809" is to the left below the signature, and "Died April 14th. 1865." is to the right below the signature.
