Description
This figurine displays two individuals. On the viewer's left is a soldier in full uniform with a bandage on his right arm. He has a mustache and is leaning on the second individual. The second person is a bearded African-American in tattered pants and shirt, who is leading the injured soldier on. They are both walking through swampy grass. In the grass on the right portion of the base is a small snake ready to strike. On the front of the base is engraved, "John Rogers New York. The Wounded Scout A Friend in the Swamp."
