Description

This figurine depicts Abraham Lincoln as a young lawyer in Springfield, Illinois, leaning against a section of fence railing. He is beardless, wearing long pants, a frock coat, vest, shirt, and bow tie. Lincoln rests his left elbow on the top of the fence with his hat in his hand. Lincoln's right hand is shown in his pocket. The entire piece is a bronze color. On the back of the figure is the artist's name etched with the year 1952 when Mr. Frank carved the original from Missouri black walnut. There is also a mark, "5/75," indicating a limited edition."
