Description
This colored lithograph features a reproduction of Abraham Lincoln's handwritten draft of the Gettysburg Address. At the end of the page is the additional information "Written in Washington (ink) and completed at Gettysburg (pencil)." The typed version of the speech appears on page 2, and on page 3 in front of a tan-colored background on which appears the handwritten version without corrections of the Address is a full-length portrait of President Lincoln done from a painting by Robert Fawcett. On page 4, in addition to the publisher's information, there is explanatory text concerning the six original copies of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
