Description
This commemorative, portfolio-sized folder features a reproduction of a painting of President Abraham Lincoln by artist Allen Tupper True . The front of the folder has a right-profile, head and shoulders portrait of President Lincoln done after a photograph taken of him on February 9, 1864, in Washington, D. C. The back cover has narrative text including an anecdote about Lincoln as a Lawyer, biographical text about the artist Allen True, and a brief note about the reproduction process. The inside pages of the folder are blank with the exception of the printed title about three-quarters of the way down the page.
