Description
This color lithograph on cream cardstock depicts a naval battle scene between two iron clad ships. The ship on the left has smoke billowing out if its single stack, and a blue flag covered with white stars flying from its center. The ship on the right has two American flags flying, one at the bow and one at the stern. A stream of smoke and fire shoots out of a cannon from the ship on the right. The artist printed his name in the plate on the lower right corner, "J.O. Davidson." A color strip fills the bottom margin.
