This woodcut illustration featuring the statue of President Abraham Lincoln done by sculptor Henry Kirke Brown was published in the February 26, 1870, issue of Harper's Weekly. The sculptor depicted President Lincoln standing with a cape over his shoulders the edge of which he holds in the right hand. In his left hand the president holds a document.
