Description
This hand-colored print features a head and shoulders portrait of Mary Todd Lincoln probably done after a photograph taken of her in 1862 in Washington, D. C. She is depicted in an off-the-shoulder dress with ruffles along the top edge of the bodice. A small floral bouquet is attached to the center of the bodice top edge and matches the floral adornment worn in Mrs. Lincoln's hair. "Mrs. A.
