This poster features a reproduction of the charcoal drawing by M. Leone Bracker of the young boy Abraham Lincoln in the family's Indiana cabin seated on the floor at his mother's knee while writing on a piece of wood. His mother is seated in a chair holding an open book. A quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln is to the viewer's left of the illustration: "All I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother." The artist's credit and the publisher's information are to the viewer's right of the illustration. Below the image is the text, "Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12th. Greet your Mother with a Message of Endearment by Postal Telegraph."
